Founded in 1955, Vince Dusters is a family-owned service company based in Buttonwillow, California, specializing in agricultural aerial applications. While we remain a small team of approximately 15 employees, we’ve grown into one of the largest aerial application companies in Kern County, California, serving over 150 customers. Our goal is to provide timely service and reliable crop care for all growers throughout the region.
Kern County is the second-largest agricultural-producing county in the United States, and Vince Dusters has played a vital role in local crop production for over 70 years. Jon Slikker Sr. joined the company as a helicopter pilot and, alongside his wife Monica, purchased the business in 2010 when the previous owners retired. Their son, Jon Slikker Jr., serves as managing partner and airplane pilot. The company remains primarily female-owned, which is rare in the agricultural industry. As a small business, we take pride in knowing each and every farmer and their families.
Vince Dusters actively supports many local events and serves on various local boards, including the Buttonwillow Lions Club.
